Need Assistance

Hi Tamara,

I dont know about the speed sign but someone else probably will. If you are having problems with your trains overshooting the stations the easiest way to fix this may be to reduce the speed of the track into the lead in to the station or post a track mark just before the station and ad a 'drive to trackmar' command before the drive to station command. Either method will slow you train before it gets to the station which should allow it to stop without over-shooting. There is another way but it involved editting the config file to give the locomotive more braking effort

You need to identify the locomotives that you are having problems with and from that identify what kuid they use as their engine spec. Use content manager to find the required engine spec, right click on it and select 'Edit' then 'Edit in Explorer'. Double click the config file and it will open in note pad.
Look for a reference to max-decel and increase the figures alongside it by overtyping the original numbers, this will make the locomotive stop faster.

Save your changes (file/save) and then commit the asset, try it in the game to see the results of the change and go back and make the figures higher again if you need to.

(PS THis will only work in AI mode - not in cab mode)

or here:
http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS_viewasset.php?AssetID=148178

I cant see enough of the first asset to know if its what you are looking for and the second certainly isn't the one in the video but both are black text on yellow backgrounds so may be OK :)
