3Ds MAX will be my demise
G'day!

So, I am so far enjoying TS12, despite it not having Compat' Mode. but my favourite Stations are broken. :'(

They are:

Staion A2 250ft with Errors: Error: Unable to load alpha texture 'stna4_1_night.bmp' for texture file 'stna4_1-stna4_1_night.texture.txt'.
Error: Binary conversion failed for texture resource 'stna4_1-stna4_1_night.texture.txt'.
Error: Unable to load primary texture 'stna4_1_night.tga' for texture file 'stna4_1_night-stna4_1_night.texture.txt'.
Error: Unable to load alpha texture 'stna4_1_night.bmp' for texture file 'stna4_1_night-stna4_1_night.texture.txt'.
Error: Binary conversion failed for texture resource 'stna4_1_night-stna4_1_night.texture.txt'.

Station A6 400ft with Errors:

Error: Unable to load image file 'WayOut.tga' for texture 'wayout.texture.txt' while validating mesh 'stn_a6_night.im'
Error: Unable to load primary texture 'wayout.tga' for texture file 'wayout.texture.txt'.
Error: Binary conversion failed for texture resource 'wayout.texture.txt'.
Error: Attachment point 0 (a.passit02) in 'queues\passengers_on_0\attachment-points' was not found.
Error: Attachment point 2 (a.passit04) in 'queues\passengers_on_0\attachment-points' was not found.
Error: Attachment point 3 (a.passit05) in 'queues\passengers_on_0\attachment-points' was not found.
Error: Attachment point 7 (a.passit06) in 'queues\passengers_on_0\attachment-points' was not found.
Error: Attachment point 8 (a.passit07) in 'queues\passengers_on_0\attachment-points' was not found.
Error: Attachment point 9 (a.passit08) in 'queues\passengers_on_0\attachment-points' was not found.

And Station A7 500ft with Errors:

Error: Unable to load primary texture 'garden1.tga' for texture file 'garden1.texture.txt'.
Error: Binary conversion failed for texture resource 'garden1.texture.txt'.

Can I open these with Gimp 2 or another image editing program to fix these? If so, how can I do it?

Cheers! :)

Jake.

First thing to check is if the .bmp or .tga referred to in the .texture.txt files actually exisits. If it doesn't, move the .texture.txt file out of the asset folder, and see if that fixes the problem. If not, then the PM2IM program from PEVsoft can be used to fix the .im mesh file.

The missing attachment points need to be removed from the config.txt file, as they don't exist in the mesh.

You probably don't need to edit the images themselves at all.
