Just thought you guys would like a peek at the National Train Day '09 website: nationaltrainday.com

It's taking place on May 9th, 2009 around the nation(USA)
I'm not sure, but I do remember that TUT had a reasonable turnout on NTD08. I hope they have something in store for NTD09 as well

Probably a good idea across the pond with such a limited national passenger network nowadays. It is focusing a great way to travel.

I reviewed the last years site but it looks a little to much like an ad for Amtrak and not really trains in general.But probably a good promotion for trains and its good for a little while.
