NAMING STATIONS

I am extending the Hawes Route to the next station at Askrigg. I have named the station on the map but cannot get the station name to appear in the "Navigate To" list
Can anyone assist. I would not think that my Mac will be different from PCs on this matter
Regards
Tony

In Surveyor, open the "Objects" tab and click the "Properties" button (question mark) in the lower right corner of the tab. Then click on your station, and a window should open allowing you to name it.

Edit: does the station you're using come with a track next to it, or is it just a building?

Just a length of platform - which I can rename but it only then shows this on the map - I must check if this appears on the Navigate list
thanks for quick reply
Tony

If it didn't come with track, then there's nothing for the trains to reference. Lay down a trackmark in front of the station, and name it the same. Now use Navigate to trackmark, and you're rolling. You may wish to place two, one for each direction to pull up to, as the trains will nose up to the trackmark and stop.
Have fun!

Tony - You could also use one of the many interactive stations, platforms, or invisible stations that will load/unload passengers and you can name and they will appear in the drive to or navigate to lists. Many show an industry icon in the surveyor list or when placed you will see passengers standing in the platform area.

Further to my recent query ref naming stations dnevans8 suggested "invisible stations"
Where are these items in the surveyor lists please
Tony

Tony,

They are in the same tab as the other stations. Look for ones beginning with AJS invisible station or AJS station. Also if you put station or platform in the filter in Surveyor you should find more.
