Here is the description posted by an "author" - this is my ttack atm but its fu,,y done

There is no track just a jumble of untextured lumps. N3V allows this stuff and for me that represents the quality of their products. You have to speculate as to the character of a person that uploads this in the first place. Probably a very young person just learning the finer points of language. But, no matter N3V ignores it and moves on to the next addon.

I agree but they don't have the manpower to vet every upload to the DLS. The image shown may not necessarily be the route, but one in progress. I noticed that TS12 will make a screenshot of the route automatically and some of them are not the best ones. This can be changed under edit route.... from the main menu.

In addition some of these routes are from the mobile platform which uses the DLS for route storage.

But obviously this is from a young person who needs some guidance with the English language and improved typing skills.

As I understand it ... N3V has no products that they made their own, (asside from Auran Brew Crew assets) ... all the stuff on the DLS, is freeware, donated by 3rd party creators ... Even the DLC stuff was not created by N3V, as those assets were made by very talented 3D creators, who sold their asset rights to N3V.

True ... There is allot of "Poo" on the DLS ... but that is the automated DLS ... nothing is checked by a humans eye

What you have seen, Dick, is probably a Trainz iPad/Android upload. This has been brought up so many times; mobile versions need their own upload purgatory and not lumped together in the DLS. So many kids are using it as some sort of online storage/backup thing it's not even funny anymore.

Will the new program be using the "as is" DLS? What changes will be made to maintain a reasonable status on the database? Will the post "only in English" be enforced or will all languages be officially allowed? Probably a lot of other things as well. If nothing is done things one of the Trainz cornerstones will continue to go downhill.
