475 should pull a train to Harrisburg and violate Amtrak's rules and just pull out onto the mainline one day without their permission and then an Amtrak train will come and hit them, then SRR will sue Amtrak for hitting them, and then Amtrak will ban SRR from ever using their tracks again. I was just making that up. It will be impossible for SRR to run anywhere outside of their own railroad because Amtrak regulations have gotten tighter, they require cab signals, probably prohibit friction bearings, and wooden coaches are banned from class 1's, the list goes on and on. Only way an extended trip will happen is if SRR acquires a set of modern coaches and a cab signal equipped diesel locomotive and gets permission from Amtrak to run occasional extended trips. Or, install cab signals in one of their steam locomotives. There was supposed to be a trip from 30th St Station to Strasburg a few years ago pulled by the Reading FP7's but it got canned.
