My Tafweb bank looks wierd...

I followed the Tafweb bank building tutorial as close as I could, with maybe a few changes to the texture and diminsions, but it came out looking like this...

And when I added nightmode, that looks weird, too...

Any suggestions on how to clean up the nightmode, and what to do with it when it's done?

Make sure the night model is slightly offset from the normal model. If they are in exactly the same place then you get flickering.

One quick fix is to select all the parts of the night model and then use the scaling tool in GMax to increase the size by a tiny amount, 1% or less and re-export.

I aggree with the above about the nightmode and your textures are out of line a bit BUT! pat yourself on the back you did it and got your first creation in game :D
 
Thanks. I moved the windows slightly, recommited the nightmode panels and made sure the collecter sent everything to the proper folder, and the nightmode came out cleaner and disappeared from the daytime model (Phwew!)
Next question is what to do with it. Does anyone have a use for it?
You may have already guessed that I modelled a different building while I followed the tutorial. (do tell!:p ) This is the police box at Ohara station, on the Pacific coast side of the peninsula east of Tokyo bay. If anyone has a use for it I'll pack it up and send it out. I think it's SP3.
If I had known I would be able to get anything out of G-Max, I would have taken some better pictures.:D I had to hand paint some of the walls to get them to come out straight(er).
