To be honest I really didn't pay much attention until just recently about the rolling stock for Trainz. As good as it is there's one thing that's missing that I don't think anyone notices. There's no FRED(Flashing Rear End Device)!! Now I'm not complaining I just thought it should be brought up to everyone's attention.

No worries I still love Jointed Rail's and RRMODS fantastic freeware rolling stock, locomotives as well as there payware. Oh and I can't leave out World of Trainz. Just a shout-out.

Don't you have to include it onto the train-car? Because I've downloaded some Road Railers from VMD, obviously no longer there because it's obsolete and they are remodeling and modernizing their equipment. What I mean is have a mesh file of a FRED & attaching it to the rolling stock. Hopefully that'll clear it up.

I had a drivable superadaptor, and used it to drive a drivable flag (see it ?):hehe:

And that drove the walker guy, who coupled to the fred, as the fred was not attached to the railcar coupler, but instead it was placed on a complex "U" shaped BNSF Invisatrack-age ... a huge illusion.

Most of the "FREDS" on the DLS ar configured as train cars, or at least bogies, and couple to the rear of the last car of the train.

The Chinese wellcars are all fitted with Freds, the Ortner Hoppers used to have the ability to have them fitted to all hoppers.

Oh yeah I just got the Chinese Well Cars. I thought they'd be American when I first looked at them but they're not. Oh well I still like them. I purchased the CONTZ PACK- Standard Edition if anyone was curious.

It has an automatic FRED... and works on both ends of the car. Place it in the rear of the consist and
when a loco couples to the consist, the FRED appears.
