I thought I might want to show people my current trainz project which is the Central West of NSW.
I've only done Parkes and even then It's not done yet. Also does anyone know of a station or at least a station building that looks like Parkes Station?

To me, textures come last, as I concentrate on precise trackwork first.
Texturing can be done in just hours, using Forest1 and Forest_1

I think this guy needs no tutoring at all ... his trackwork is straight, and turnouts proper !

made my way to Forbes now, I started with Parkes because my Grandfather lives there and with texturing it depends on the area, if its farmland I make my own template of paddocks and then I copy paste then I add in trees, cows the lot

Well, that is a nice shot but i agree with JIB228 play some music grab a nice cold drink and start texturing but that can be done last, track work is more important. To me of course.

See I tend to bounce form task to task. I might spend an hour or so doing track work, then go detail an area. Or texture some fields. Or set up roads. Helps keep things fresh. Focusing on one thing gets boring and repetitive, so I break it up and keep things fun.

I am also much interested in building routes like yours. Were did you get New South Wales content from? There isn't any in my TC and TS2009 and the one on DLS does not work or is missing many dependencies.

Look under Davido, natvander, NSWGR_46Class and ad602000 on the DLS they have some great stuff, NSWGR_46Class is I think updating AD60's content so mainly go to him. Davido has a website for some of his content, most of it is on the DLS under Davido but on his website is payware and some other things including his beautiful 38's http://home.exetel.com.au/cws/worrybrook/

Thanks! I know Natvander created many great assets for NSW, but after my PC crashed with TRS2006 I lost most of it. I think of buying TS12. Does it have any NSW content built in? If not, will the content already created for earlier versions of Trainz work in TS12?

Hi.

TS12 has nothing Aussie included and there is no compatibility mode so most older content will not work without severe fixing.
