my model trainz

I've edited this entire thread...

I've edited the entire thread in a more of a polite way.

Hope you like my modifications.:D

Taillights, if you replace the plastic wheels with metal ones and put a contact strip in, it should be easy. Use a decoder to turn them on and off at will.

Thanks for the suggestion.

If I use a decoder that's meant to operate points (because it's just on and off and not anywhere in between) would it effect the numbers of trains that I can run? (because I'm extremely limited on how many trains I can run at the same time)

Unless you got a booster (get the one that's 8 amps!), yes, it will draw current and will lower the total number of trains you can run without an overload.

That's a shame because I can only run 16 trains at one time. Ill think about getting the circuiting upgraded.:D

Thanks for helping. really appreciate it.

I had found new model planes on the internet which have a ratio of about 1:500 Dad says that it's 1/2 a meter tall (which I think it's too big for my oo gage trains).

I am curious if it's about 50cm all.

So I would like to gather thoughts about how big 1:500 in CMs.

1:500 would be Japan's new smaller-than-Z scale (I think). If you have OO scale...you'd be having your model people running model trains of their own with this stuff!

Ben, can I make a suggestion. If you want to see how other modelers fit lighting to things like tail lights on the guards van, take a look on this forum :)

I'm just starting on my model railway, albeit it in HO (With some 00 mixed in though) set in Aus, but they have been very helpful so far.

1:500 is very small. This can also be read as 1/500 (Or 1 devided into 500), which can equate to 1m divided into 500, which equals 2mm. So on the diagrams, 2mm would represent 1m :)
