Murchison 2 detailed maps

Anyone know of Murchison 2 maps that offer more detail for local yards, etc., than are available when purchasing the route?

If you go to the TRAINZONE website you will find the maps.

On the MURCHISON 2 page you will find the maps on the page which can be saved. (these have black backgrounds)

Murchison route. (This download contains the map files with white backgrounds for printing)

Thx for those links, but I was actually wondering if there were any maps more detailed than that, for instance with all the tracks of a given yard, like Port Jackson, etc.

No, sorry, I have not made more detailed maps.

However these can be quickly created using TRAINZMAP. This is a free utility from VISTAMARE

Good suggestion. There's a great project for someone with Trainz 2004 or 6, I guess. Trainzmap appears to require one of those.

Oh well, I guess the in-game map is sufficient. Or I can always get out the old pencil and paper and draw each yard myself.

I have an idea...

It may be possible to take a screenshot in Map mode, but I haven't had luck. I'm using a screenshot program called Snaggit; maybe that's the problem. Anyway, you can enable/disable signals, junction names, etc. then copy to your favorite graphics program & edit.

I will see about creating some yard maps. I have not been asked before so never thought about it .. can I ask what the reason is that you would like them?
