multiple installs of trainz (2010 and 2012)

Ok gang,

This one is a multipart question....

Part 1:

I just bought a new 750 gig internal for the computer here and it is going to be for Trainz only. What I would like to do is have 2 separate installs of Trainz, one for 2010, and one for 2012. Any tips on how to keep them separate?

Part 2:

I currently own 09/10/12.

Should I do one install with 09, then add 10 on top of it, then for the second install, do a 09/10/12 install, assuming 12 can be added to 10?

Hope you took notes, there will be a test later....

All versions can co-exist within separate folders. Just make sure they go where you want them to, not the default installation. Once you have them installed, you can make more copies into other folders. As long as the folder names are different, they won't get mixed up. This is handy, as you can keep one copy 'as installed' as a backup and do all your work in another copy or copies. With a 750gb drive you have more than enough space. Don't do an 'over the top' installation.

Until recently I had copies of all the versions in the timeline above in working order.
