Multi industry not working?????

so i have a huge route i am using (austin Sub)

and i use alot of the "new multiple industries" to makeit more realistic,


i went into driver and my train i thought i loaded was empty, i re tryed loading the cars and i found out the industry its self is not loadig any of the products.

what shoul i do? or could i do?

have you configured the indies in the session layer if do are you useing teh right cars

i do the steps it tells me, select the product, have it load into cars and then i skip the "process" on some cause most are just consume or produce.

and then i est it out and it don't work

ex: my 62ft mp boxcar loading at the industry for general autoparts, it stops and says it is loading but doesn't?

It has been a while since I used 2006 but I don't think you can just "skip" the "process" step. It is, if I remember correctly, the function of the process to tell the industry whether it produces, consumes or does both.

So, if your industry is just producing a product (no consumption) then the process must be set to produce that product.

If your industry is just consuming a product (no production) then the process must be set to consume that product.

If your industry is doing both (say consuming steel plate and producing automobiles) then its process must be set to consume steel plate and produce automobiles.

I stand ready to have my memory corrected on this.

Your memory is correct. It would certainly seem that the original poster has not configured the MIN correctly by skipping some of the important steps.

yes i always thought the process step was to just make it consume something to produce another, not an actual process step like have to do.

Multi-product New In Version TRS2010

I have trouble getting the product category list. Is the Demand to appear or is an error in a script on a produck, so that no one comes up.

On my display no produckt, and is completely empty

This is a picture that shows one that works

Is there a version conflict.

jaJeg has been repaired so that the list of commodity work again.


There will be one of the downloaded commodity addon does not and blockading the entire list.

I deleted all that was not built into TRS2010 and then I got up they were default.

But I do not know who is FAULTY.

I have to downlod again to see..

No product list = faulty product/commodity or missing dependencies for a product/commodity.

Both of these can be checked in Content Manager by searching for:

Category:Commodity
Location:Local

If a red ! or ? appears, this indicates a faulty product or a faulty dependency of a product.
If a yellow ? appears, this indicates a product has a missing dependency.

I have try but to no avail, and there's nothing unusual there.

Haven't used 06 for a long time but I seem to remember something about a faulty chloride product that didn't show up as faulty or was missing altogether.
I also had a problem with one of the general goods product.
Taines. Check to see if you have 2 of something causing a conflict.

Check that you do not have the Lime product installed.

This is one that causes a lot of issues in TRS2006, as it is a TS2009 product.

I used to have the same problem, no product list showing.
But after I removed or disabled everything from the installed content that was faulty (red !) the problem was solved. It took some time though.

I have also had problems with this but, after using CM, the only product I can find with a red tag is "Baggage". This is a "built in product and I am fearful of adjusting this. Does anyone know if I remove the offending tag, which is "thumbnail entry", if I will get some other problem?

How to set up Multiple Industry New

I still use TRS2006, so send me following information and I will post here detailed instructions on how to set up "Multiple Industry New" (in some versions called "Multiple Industry Advanced".

1/ What commodities the industry is going to process (kuid please)?
2/ What vehicles the commodities are to be loaded to/unloaded from (also specify kuid)

Det skal vise seg at en av dei nedlastede commodity addon virker ikkje og blokerer hele lista.

Jeg slettet alle som var ikkje built inn TRS2010 og da fikk jeg opp dei som var default.

Men jeg vet ikkje kven som er faulty.

It could have been any of them - easiest way of finding out is to install them one at a time, checking each time. As soon as the offending one is installed, the product list issue will reappear - this will be the offending product.

BTW I corrected the "Baggage" built in commodity and it fixed it, now the list shows up.
