MRR Controls

Can someone design a control asset for MRRS. Could have a set of knobs simulating control of trains and switches to simulate the control of switches. A grahic copy of the track and switches layout would really add a real diamesion to the MRR

The late John Maton (teddytoot) developed a layout switching system and made a demo layout to show case how it worked. <KUID:37096:101825> Model Rail Control Panel Demo.

I worked with John to develop these ideas further before he was taken from us all too soon. My Trainz Model Railway layout, - DWW MR O gauge 'Lynborough' Broad Gauge-FINAL V2 <KUID2:768291:12786:1> makes use of this system and it works fine. I don't know of any other MR/TMR layouts that have used this system that have been uploaded to the DLS.
Should you download 'Lynborough' be warned, - this is a very large 19th century UK model railway layout covering two standard Trainz layout boards.

Downloader DWW GR 3ft Garden Railway Dreams. Impressive, especially the control board. This will add many new MRR assets to my Trainz. Also downloaded DWW O gauge 'Lynborough' Thanks everyone for all your hard work!

I made an asset "inspired by" the (old?) Marklin controllers. Look on the DLS for "Transformers and controls, model railroad".
Kuids 645812:97905 and 645812:97920.

Thanks oknotsen. Downloaded the controls. Looks a little large but I think it might work. I good to know that many people are still checking the community. Maybe we can make MRR great again.

It worked for the specific goal I had. Didn't expect many people to consider them for re-use.

(Asset in use on my "Huttel" route, which can be found on the DLS)

If it is just the size and you are not in a hurry, I could see if I can find the old blender files and simply resize them to 50% of their current size for example.

I would wait. Not sure how far I'll go with this but, thanks. I see you used Blender. I've done a few thinks with Blender. Design 'Reflective Cube', 'Rock' and uploaded to DLS.
