Moving TS12 and content to new hard drive

Due to imminent failure of my current hard drive, I am faced with replacing it. I am considering a hybrid SSD/hard drive. Can some one suggest the best way to reinstall TS12, and associated content....including a ton of cutom content, plus half a ton of old content I have fixed to work in TS12?

Can I just copy all existing files in the current TS12 folder, and move them over to a new TS12 install on the new HD? Than do a data base repair?I have all my stuff backed up, mostly as CDP's....which would take a while to import...but I am mostly concerned about items I have fixed to work in TS12.

Any and all guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...

And Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and the enjoyment of the season.

Yes you can just copy and paste everything to the new installation, but best part is if you copy the entire folder over then you will not have to update to the newest patches as it will already be done, and you would not have to rebuild the database as it would still be intact.
so what I would do is install trainz on the new drive as normal. Then go back to your old drive and copy(Default path, Auran/TS12) to where the new installation is(Auran/TS12). This will overwrite the "new" installation with your "old" installation.
This is the method I have used and it worked 100% flawlessly. Others will have slightly varying ways to do it as well.
