moving content from TRS2006 to TC

I know there are other threads about this and I have looked them over and saved copies to help me with my upgrade. but I have a slightly different question.

I don't want to copy all kinds of erroneous assets into TC and slow it down or cause errors. what if I only had one route which I really want to move to TC (one I've been developing for over a year) and the others I really don't care about. I want to copy over my locomotives, rolling stock, sounds, cabs, and any scenery which is in this one route. is there a way to do this easily? what I'm getting at is I may want to move much, but not all of my TRS2006 stuff over.

any chance that I can export my route and have it automatically export all dependencies with it? I hope I hope!

Let CMP show all dependencies of your route.

Select them all by higlighting one and then hit Ctrl+A

Open them up for editing with Ctrl+E

Go to the folder where you have installed TRS06

Find the "editing" folder. Make a copy of that folder and move it somewhere safe ( desktop )

Go back into CMP and hit Ctrl+R to reverse opening all the files.

Close CMP

Open the CMP used by TC

select "import content"

select the "editing" folder you have previously copied.

Highlight one and hit Ctrl+A

Hit Ctrl+M to commit.

That is all.

Priceless info, Zwabberaar! An answer to my question in the other thread!
I don't want to highjack, but does all content from TRS06 work in TC?
And I am mainly aiming at rolling stock and loco's...

Not all content does but CMP will tell you if an item is faulty. If the red exclamation point shows you will need to fix the item to guarantee the item works correctly in TC. Most flaws are not too difficult to repair.
