Mouse controls not working sometimes

Im on tutorial 4 in 2010 trainz. Engineers Edition. When i load my saved game, most of the time the inside train controls will not respond to the mouse. The views and everything else seems to work ok. just not the levers inside the train.

im using Win 7 64 bit and machine is more than good enough.

Sounds like your in DCC mode. Is there a little black dial at the top right of your screen?

Tutorial 4 is to teach how to use the CAB mode so it is run in CAB mode. I just ran it for a couple of minutes, saved it, exited. Then started Trainz and selected the save session. The CAB controls all work with both the keyboard and with the mouse. Sounds like you have something wrong. Have you always had this problem? Do you have it with other tutorials or sessions?

Adjust your stettings...

Go into Menu/Options/mouse settings & tinker with these.

Sometimes the settings for the mouse get changed to pan-mode.
