More signal problems

I need help fine tuning ATLS triggers to make my signals work better. I have tried to adjust the physical distance of the trigger from the crossing along with changing the radius of the trigger. I run trains into some of the crossings, but do not completely cross: they stop and backup while switching and this throws the triggers out of whack ! When the train does leave the crossing the signals are stuck DOWN. Anyone have the solution?

I always follow this rule: between every two switches the must be at least one signal.
