Amazing, as always, George. Well done and another layout I will eagerly check out once complete.

What is it with these car splines? They look SOOOO repetitive and are so frequently used in nearly every layout. AARGH! They are driving me mad...
Would anyone notice if they went missing from the DLS?:hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

This is why I started the Southern steam project. Right type of engine, terrible model for it though.
I feel a real Ts coming soon! Need to finish up my B-2 first though.
If only my computer could handle that route. The only suitable Southern Railway route.:'(
Also, the Southern and NS Steam Programs rarely used diesels in their excursions and when they did they were shiny green and gold FP7s or NS units. Never Amtrak, nor did they use any Amtrak equipment. They used many Southern and later N&W cars, most of which are now in use throughout the Southeast.
I didn't even know they used superliners in the eastern part of the US? I was told that the tunnels didn't give them enough clearance? Am I wrong or not?

After Southern rebuilt all of is lines in the 1950s-70s, they could run double stacks through them so yes. Before, however, no, especially not the Rathole.
New England railroads don't have clearance. I believe this is what you're thinking of.
