More Custom Avatars?!

Ok i think i finally got it right. ransparent Background and i fixed the blurryness.

OK is that better? the remaining stuff under the car is all details.

After taking a closer look it still needs some work. It is not yet clear enough to meet the standards we want to maintain. Try enlarging it in your paint program and clearing up some of the pixels. Then compare it to other similar avatars we have in the pool and try and match them for clarity. Start on the trucks first and get some definition happening in that area

Ok i don't kniw which was worse my first r second but here is the best i can do for underdeatail. It s just too small and if i resize the whole thing goes bad.

So how the heck to you submit these? You can't send them via helpdesk, I've attached them to emails in the past, and they've never showed up as avatars, I've posted them in the forums, and they've never showed up as avatars, what's the trick?

you just upload it to say photobucket or imageshack and post it here

On a separate note to all, if you want to display a particular avatar, then by all means, go right ahead, but please do not flood frograil randomly with requests for their avatars you have no intention of using.

yes, as lance stated, please do not flood 'Tonys' E-mail(he runs Frograil). i know he is busy because it took him a while to answer mine, let alone where you might want all of yours, so please, only request the ones you want, like i did.

Lance, looking through the avatar gallery, one thing that strikes me the most, the chaotic organisaiton of avatars. (Sorry, I could only give it that term!)
Is it possible to allow those with faster connection to view more than one avatar at a time or categorise them?
For example, my PIGs (in different liveries) in their own category, the HST and Mk3s in their own category, etc, etc?

I hope this was a worthy suggestion.

A worthy suggestion yes, but not a priority WEN, considering there are so few avatars in the UK & Ireland collection at present. If you needed to access them on a weekly or even monthly basis there would be grounds to arrange some of the other categories into something less chaotic maybe

Drucifer's Auran Avatars

I made this, Nickel Plate Road_765_Berkshire_S-2_2-8-4,

for a member over a year ago now.

It was posted and emailed via web-form, but never added.


As to my other uploads that never got added, they are still here. They are free to anyone who wishes to submit them to Auran. Please note that about a third of them are already Auran avatars. So before you submit one, make sure it ain't already up.

Oh, and please do NOT ask me to make one.
