In the last version Beattie Construction and a couple of others in Billings were broken. Beattie Construction and Marco,s Fine furniture have been replaced but I,m not sure about the other one.. I did a quiick test with a locomotive which proved Beatties Construction is no longer broken. I have not personally tested it to see if it will unload in my session but I hope to before the weekend is out along with some others. A word of caution to would be testers. Testing Industies can only be done if you are hosting the session. For some reason if you are a "guest" in a session things don,t always work as they would do normally. I found that out when I was a "guest" in my own session, Port Ogden once. For some strange reason I could not assign a commodity to the tank cars or load them but later when I hosted everything in the garden was rosy. I,m pretty certain Shadow was hosting when he was testing so the test should have given an accurate result. In the MRL session I,m hosting a player could not load plastic pipes at Trident but when I took over his driver the cars loaded fine. Other problems I have found are no crude oil at Clarkeson, LPG at Bozeman needs a serious adjustment and the 40 mph leaving Livingston going towards Laurel should be moved much nearer the Yard exit. However overall I find MRL is a great route with a lot of potential. It is modelled on the Real Montana Railroad so it would be wrong to change too much as the route would lose it,s authenticity and that would be a shame. What, in my opinion would improve the route? The Interactive Industries working properly for a start, no easy task I might add. Unfortunately the new, broken Point switches in Billings have closed some important industries such as The one that produces General Autoparts. Crude Oil is aso an important commodity which is not available in this session as I mentioned. The most important thing the session needs which neither Jib nor I can provide are players in the session. MRL is designed to work with quite a few players. A bare Minium of two dispatchers are needed, one at Billings and one at Helena plus an assistant at Billings and Helena who would service the industries in those areas of control.Thats 4 players without the drivers who are doing Yard to Yard transfers and driving coal trains to and from the power stations every now and then. And that is without bringing Laurel and Livingston into the equation. I hope I havn,t put anybody off, it really is a great session with a lot of positives. So come and join my session or anyone else who is hosting at the time. If you have problems joining the session There is always help in these forums or you can talk to somebody such as myself.
