Monster Train

Wow,unbelivable, for a train like that, it is no wonder powerful locomotives were needed for trains like these!;)

The N&W held the record for while i thought? i assume thats surpassed but what i can remeber is that this train was a giant coal train with some SD-35s in the middle. i dont know the car count but it was over 200 cars. anyone know about it?

500 or 300, each is still a large number, everyone can agree, i would think that doing these kind of trains are pretty dangerous and that only expert engineers are on them correct, one slip and oops!

Not true, as with every train it's who ever is first out in that pool or on that spare board gets it. However I can tell you that these trains are easy to run, and I would prefer these to a short train anyday!

thanks for the clarification. long trains are fun to watch, although i like small trains of about 4-12 cars, i don't know why but i like trains period.
