I've looked a bit through the DLS without much luck. Does anybody know of any modern grain elevator buildings around? Something like Viterra would have on the prairies?
I don't know what is classed as modern, but the grain elevators I have seen on the DLS are listed under various names and you may not have seen them all, depending on what search terms you used previously.
Try the following search terms;
wheat
grain
elevator
pool
silo
Alberta
..and also search the 'description' field if the 'title' field doesn't reveal much.
Here are some I use. These are just the names listed in my Surveyor list:
Young Earth Grain Elevator
Alexander Grain Company
Noel Brettoner's Grain Storage Facility
Plowboy Grain Elevator
Portland Grain Silos
Stockman's Grain Elevator
United Grain Growers1
grain elevator 02a
saginaw elevator
western elevator
Building Silo
silo type A
westdale d150 silo
westdale S027 silo
GrainElevator
GrainElevatorTower
GrainSilo Oz
GW Malt Sec5 (this is a BIG one!)
Hope these will be along the lines of what you're looking for.
