Model Trains For Sale

Im ridding myself of some old, unused, and unnecessary model trains. I also have a starter set. I have a Daylight F7 from Athearn, five passenger daylight cars I believe are Athearn made as well. I'm equipped with twelve freight cars as well. All if them are in good operating condition. The only thing missing is a couple of the brakes on the F7 which fell off but it still operates. The couplers I removed on the F7 due the fact they were in poor condition. I'll probably compensate with either a discount or I'll give them the cash to buy new ones. Other than that they're 100 percent operable. Whoever's interested message me. When I get back home I'll show some pictures of the train just to give you an idea of what it all looks like. I'm probably looking at 25-100 but since a lot of this stuff is cheap hand me down toys from Historic Rail, I'll be more flexible and I might just give them away for free.

I do have a couple of old school style freight cars of UP. I don't have SSW but I do have SP. And some other lesser known lines. Once I get back home on Sunday I'll display all the assets I have.

Hi Kris, some nice stuff you have there. May I suggest a Flickr album or similar and posting a link to it here? It should help you with the sale.

Cheerio,
Nicholas

That's all I have. Took this last September before I went to Basic Training.

I'd suggest putting it on ebay, maybe someone that likes old stuff will swoop 'em up. That looks like the stuff my dad had, he's 65.

I'd rather not have to go through the hassle of that but I might have to. Just hope I get a good return on it though.

how much would you sale the lot for.

Between 25-100. I might just do 25-50.

Well, which is it? $25.00 or $100.00 ??

There is a huge difference there, and probably the reason no one seems serious is because you don't either...

Make up your mind what it is worth to you, price it at a set price.

You can compare prices on ebay, then figure half of that...cause you don't have to pay any of ebay's fees.

$30 minimum.

$30 minimum.

Just say $30, then you will have something a buyer can go for.

Seriously, when you say it that way; "$30.00 minimum", it sounds like after someone agrees to buy them for $30.00 you are gonna jack up the price and start playing games.

If you want $35.00, then say "$35.00 plus actual Shipping from ZIP code xxxxx-xxxx"
-This way, people know what they are paying, and how much shipping will be.

ps. sorry if I sound like I am hassling you, I am not...just giving advice from someone who sells quite a few HO trains on ebay.
