Here is my Tri-ang re-creation that I have built and modelled all the items for - I want some suggestions for a better track to use please, or will I have to bite the bullet and recreate my own 'Super 4' track asset ? - what are people using for an authentic looking model track ?

OK, its getting away from me now, I have now modelled the Tri-ang Series 3 track, as a spline asset, so its just like what I had, even down to the connectors and fishplates, they are a lineside item so they snap to the track - being easy to position using the track guide I have also made that has a post to line the spline points up with, in effect the location of the joint. I am tackling the points next which will have another lineside item that represents the position of the plastic ballast, lever and working parts, to add more realism ! - The buffers can now can click to the sleepers !

You must be using i.bb.co, because your pics aren't loading for me. Don't know why it is, but it is most of the time from that site for me.

I gave up trying to use the Trainz Gallery, my pics were not uploading there, occasionally they did, - there was a recommendation on the screenshots thread to use i.bb as it gave no problems ! - what do you use ?

I use Trainz Gallery and never had a problem, other than a while ago when it was out of kilter for a bit. But never mind my issues with i.bb.co. It comes and goes (I see your pics now), so I am going to quit complaining and enjoy what you are posting. Great work!

Wow, this brings back so many memories! I'll say that I prefer your original track, though I can believe that Tri-ang track was that bulky. Please upload these items so I can recreate my first layout! :giggle:
