Ok so I have been making my own track for a while now. I just keep building on it and learning new things. The track is getting long now and more complicated.
Recently though something odd happened. After making some track when I went to driver a big chunk of the track I added was missing. After a bit of panic I was able to recover the track. After that I found that the second session from the end was the one with the track and the session after that is corrupted. So I opened the session with the track, renamed with the "save to" as a new route and proceeded to add more line. (The changes to topology didn't go anywhere!)
Several hours of work later I went to driver to see what was the best track I ever made yet only to discover it was gone, and the bit of track from above that made me make the new route in the first place. Unfortunately I don't have any other sessions but the one and there doesn't seem to be any way to recover this track. The only evidence is the new topology where the track went.
I figure that I lost that track and have resigned my self to that but I don't really want to proceed remaking it or anything until I know whats going on and what to do about it. Have any of you run into situations like this and how do you fix it?
