Anyone know where I can find the following Prowler901 kuids? They don't seem to be on the DLS or his website.

43955:50000 - 42955:50017
43955:51003 - 43955:51005
43955:51005
43955:53000 - 43955:53001
43955:54000 - 43955:54001
43955:55000 - 43955:55002

Are they buried in some other kuids?
Thanks for any help - I'm trying to get Timber Ridge Line running on my TS2009 system.

Go to http://www.steammachine.com/prowler/ and download C-16 #278 to get these:

interior <kuid:43955:55008>
bogey <kuid:43955:50024>
bogey-1 <kuid2:43955:50067:1>
bogey-2 <kuid:43955:50023>
bogey-3 <kuid2:43955:50072:1>
enginespec <kuid:43955:51006>
enginesound <kuid2:43955:53009:1>
hornsound <kuid2:43955:54002:1>
pantograph <kuid2:43955:57005:1>

Most if not all of your kuid list are on his site as part of the locos, rolling stock or parts packs.
Also always check the kuids listed in the body of the config.txt file and compare with the list of kuids in the kuid-table. Any kuids in the kuid-table that isn't actually referenced (used) in the body of the config.txt file must be deleted.

After you've downloaded some of his stuff and still have missing kuids, come back with a new and shorter list.

Oh, one other question. When assets are on a website other than DLS - say as CDPs, is there a way to figure out included kuids without downloading and importing? For example, without you telling me what's in #278, is there some way I could have figured that out?

No, unless the host site has a kuid cross-reference file. You could save a .cdp download to a temp folder then examine its contents using CDP Browser.exe without installing it into Trainz.

Not really, unless the website has that info or you find info somewhere online (say an old forum post) that has that info. (In theory you could download the file and use a hex editor to search for kuid, but you still have to download it and at that point installing it would be quicker. On the other hand, with a grep tool that can search for text inside files, you can use that method when you start asking "OK, what cdp file did I get this asset from?" by searching for that specific kuid in your saved .cdp files.)

To add to the topic, I'm missing KUID2:43955:50072:1. It appears it's one of the bogies. I'm missing it on the new C-19 and the C-16 #278. Any help?

Just remember that a lot of content creators use KUIDs from other content they made in the past and is only downloaded from that piece of content. I think the one thing they should say is "this KUID is needed for (x) loco or rolling stock and can be found by downloading (y) loco, rolling stock or KUID". I think if a lot more content creators told us where to find some of their shared KUIDs I think it would give us a lot less headaches when it comes to downloading their content.
