Missing picklist

I recently changed my settings to point to a different storage location and I seem to have lost my pick list. When I return settings to the old location it has vanished from there as well. Is there somewhere in the old location that the list might be found so that I can copy it across to the new location?

The picklists are not stored as a separate file, they are part of the assets.tdx file. The file has two areas (picklist and named-picklists) where the picklists are stored (the kuids in binary).

You should have copied your old data folder to the new location before changing the location, otherwise a new empty database is created (with only the builtins).

The problem with this Save process is that it back-up only by saving SUB-Picklists. The entire contents of the Picklist cannot be backed-up in one go. I hope I am proven wrong.:o But better than nothing, and it works!

I agree. I have about 20 picklists and when I make changes to them I have to back them up individually. While this is still useful if only one or two picklists need updating, it would be nice to be able to back them all up in one go.
