Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me out I'm trying to download missing dependencies for some of the Australian Queensland Rail and it keeps coming up with couldn't obtain a download URL. Item cannot be found on the Download Station.

These are the missing kuid's

<kuid:69937:100064>
<kuid:69937:100065>
<kuid:96997:100189>
<kuid:45335:15116>
<kuid:98534:100025>
<kuid2:50587:8:1>
<kuid:268447:140>
<kuid:39601:755797761>
<kuid:-1:42004201>
<kuid:211014:1015>
<kuid:211014:1020>
<kuid:211014:1016>
<kuid:211014:1017>
<kuid:211014:1018>

Why cannot these be found on the Download Station as it shows their file size and all? is there a way I can get these? I have searched online and found nothing thus far hence my post here, if anyone can help me in finding these missing dependencies would me much apreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Scott.

I don't know why but I know that the first three items are on the Dl Station. Use the kuid search seperetly for each item. By pass the CMP.

Hi LWVRR, sorry for this but i just relized this the kuid's I listed are all the ones I have installed with missing dependencies and I dont know how to find them or get them :( when I click on view dependencies this is what they show.

Unknown Location: <kuid:-1:100395>

of cause the kuid is different for some of them and some of them have alot showing so I just displayed one for an exsample any help on this matter would be apreciated.

Thanks again,

Scott.

Sorry I'm new to all this I have only had Trainz Classic Third Edition for about a week now BTW I love it, so if these are built-in items and its a problem how can I go about fixing it?

Scott.

I don't understand all the affected kuids? I'm assuming the first ones I posted are all the affected kuids? as each one I put in the first post all had missing dependencies.

Scott.

OK - the non-negative kuids are built-in items. The positive kuids normally are available on the DLS or on Google.

Sometimes, Content Manager does not always see items. Use the DLS Black pages to find the missing items.

Ok I found 99% of the kuds I first posted about on the DLC black page and could only download them through the FTP server way, when I goto import them they says...

Warning: Skipping asset <kuid2:50587:8:1> which is already open for edit
so Im asuming I already have it installed as a local? so when I view its dependencies it shows...

Unknown Location: <kuid:-1:100395>

I'm also assuming that the -1 in the kuid represents it as a local file that is missing and cannot be found?

If this is correct then how is it possible to locate it or tell the CMP where it is loacated if assuming it is on the hardrive?

Scott

That is correct - unfortunately, if it is not in your Content Manager, you may need to buy another version of Trainz to get it.

Shane

I see that maybe the case...

Well thank you for your help you have been great and I have learnt so much in this little time was much appreciated.

Thank you again,

Scott.

As already stated, this is for another version of Trainz. I think it is TRS2006. I would recommend getting Trainz Collection as it includes TRS2004, Trs2006, UTC, additional content for 2004, Trainz Routes 1-4 and paintshed.
