latters a fake reupload. formers the real 06 site. I host the official 2009 reupload approved by skarloey123 himself. But yes, you are not wrong. You don't know how many times I have been asked regarding kuids because thomas stuff seems to use kuids that not everyone has. Good for uniqueness, bad for others
 
Uniqueness is one perspective, but yes, for others it is a site offering downloads of assets with missing pieces, which for me doesn't say much.
 
Hello to this form once again. I will make sure this time, unlike last time to put the kuid CORRECTLY. I am missing <kuid:569535:100153> specifically.
 
Where can I find this KUID by Maddy25? It doesn't turn up anywhere. <kuid2:124017:26042:3> It's supposed to be a highway support. It's missing from the Baltimore and west route by jrfolco. The only missing asset that I couldn't find. I would just replace it in bulk but how do I do that with the asset missing in surveyor? It might have been a built-in from an earlier Trainz version, I'm using Trainz 2019.

I'm having tons of issues with tsi Thomas right now i recently got trainz yesterday and I've figured out some deps on him but the back light mesh is unknown and i cant download the other mesh
 
I thought some of them came with the Platinum versions, but I checked TRS22 Platinum, TRS19 Platinum, and T:ANE platinum and did not see any of them.

Is a reskin of the original downloadable in the DLS. So, you could download that, clone it to the original KUID< and there you go.

I bought the Japan route and now I have the asset. But, I have another problem. There is this payware asset TS12 RockyCoal Ground <kuid:565830:100216> which has an error in 19 and the pev tool can't fix it because the asset is newer and the textures are encrypted. How do I get the asset into Trainz 19 the right way? It must have been packaged so you can't move it via CDP or you will get the texture errors.
 
I have that asset in TRS19 Platinum and there are no errors. Could you post the error(s)? It is not a new asset, it is build version 2.9 and has ".texture" files that PevSoft can convert. Or, if you Open, then "Revert to Original" it may fix itself.
 
I tried opening the texture files in the tool and they are encrypted meaning you can't convert them. The errors happen when you move the files by cdp from one Trainz version to another. They have to be downloaded from a package or something to have no errors. and I tried opening it and reverting and it's still faulty. Where did this asset originate, was it in TS12 and was it ever released in a package for TANE or TS2019? If the pev tool could fix it, I wouldn't be complaining here. I'm not sure if I moved it from an earlier Trainz version. is there a way I can replace it with something else in bulk? The route is too big to look for where a missing texture should be.

Sorry, I don't know what happened. I was able to open both of the .texture files and convert them to .tga and .texture.txt and submit the edits fine. I don't know what is happening on your end. The other idea was to maybe revert to original and see if Trainz would remove the faulties.
 
I tried that but it's still faulty. Would it be possible for you to send me your version since I already have the asset but it's faulty? I have a few other faulty assets from the Baltimore route but they can be fixed by the pev tool except the powerstation basic and powerstation by Auran which have the newer encrypted texture files which can't be converted to .tga's. For those I would need to get them from a package or dlc. And the long factory. I just don't feel like figuring out where on the route a coal texture is and manually replacing it. You made a post on Dec 18, 2023 what routes have the long factory in them. If those are payware I might just have to buy one of them just for one asset.

How about this? It's marked payware so I can't fix it with the pev tool. I need to know what route it came from so that I can buy the route. <kuid:59940:20502> RTS - Industrial building no.1 Joe used several packaged or payware assets in his route that you have to buy routes for. I don't care if I have to buy four routes, I just want all the assets to be error free in the Baltimore West route. I bought a route for the Long Factory and now that asset is error free. I thought I had most of the assets error free in a previous Trainz, but you can't move payware files over to a newer Trainz by cdp because you will get the unfixable texture errors which prevent the asset from showing up on the route.
