Missing KUIDS? Post them here!

Hello the built in DL531 has faulty dependancies and will not work since updates to TRS22. What is required to get them working again, some people still wish to use them

Greetings. I have TRS22PE build 126273 and I don't show a built in DL531? I downloaded all of them on the DLS and none of them are showing faulty. Maybe post the KUID of the one that is showing faulty and post the errors it has?

Sometimes old dependencies coming from the early days of Trainz, if you download them from the DLS through the content organizer they have no errors, but if you install it from a CDP you have saved or have opened or modified it becomes erroneous. I think we are in this case, I just downloaded from the DLS the <kuid:-13:136> dl531 in Trainz 2022 PE and it is error free and usable.
Delete the <kuid:-13:136> and redownload it and perform a database rebuild.

I ended up downloading the DL531 again from the DLS and then it's okay.

In Content Manager
Right-click
Choose view asset in new window.
Select it after the new window opens up...
Delete it.
Download again.

The original paintshed assets you made using the program were aliased to the mesh templates that were built in to versions of Trainz up to TS12 I think. Then they were not included in the content set of TANE. Therefore breaking the user created files. For a while, we were advised to copy the meshes from an earlier version of Trainz into the user created asset and remove the alias tags and link directly to the meshes. At some point the old templates appeared on the DLS as well you could download them and the alias would work. I think the alias tag is still working but I don't use my old paintshed creations in anything newer than TS12. I think the CRG fixed most of them on the DLS using the replace the mesh technique but I'm not sure.

I am not familiar with Alias meshes, but for <kuid:-13:136> dl531, the paths and filenames should be dl531_body\dl531_body.pm and dl531_shadow\dl531_shadow.pm. There are no references in <kuid:-13:136> for 4840.

The faulty dependancy is outlines in this screenshot.

That's your own kuid mate <kuid2:50587:100023:1>

The <kuid:-13:136> dl531 by Auran is not faulty at my end. Seems like you are missing something important in the config file to make your reskin work correctly in TRS22. I have no idea how reskins are done, but check out another reskin asset and compare the config information to discover what's missing

I have a few missing kuids, does anyone now what they are?
