<kuid:664758:101803> VR Goulburn Murray Lines v4. is from theDLS, although now I see I am missing a couple of dependencies, which I wasn't before. Odd. The other two do not give information where they came from .
 
I am now missing the following assets from <kuid:664758:101803> VR Goulburn Murray Lines v4. They have not been missing before, so I am wondering if I tried to do a substitution in the config.txt file, which I now know only lasts until Trainz looks at it and sees it isn't right. Anyway, I am missing:
<kuid2:122860:100278:2>
<kuid2:441444:100155:1>
I believe <kuid2:122860:100278:2> is some kind of tree by roystrainz, and <kuid2:441444:100155:1> is a windmill by falcon500? If someone can confirm I will just clone some substitutes and assign the KUIDs, maybe that will work.

EDIT: Looks like I have <kuid:122860:100278> Roys_Aspen_osina2_m5_4D_season from the DLS. No other versions list. I don't know if I can up-version it?
I suppose I can substitute <kuid2:441444:100156:1> Windmill Comet V2 if I clone it and give it the missing KUID?

So if I wanted to replace an unknown assest with a known one instead of scavenger hunting for the unknown one how do I exactly do that?

CofG509. It is easy enough to just substitute another asset if you have an identifiable orange wire box on the route. Just place the substitute asset in the orange wire box and then delete missing assets and you are done. But now you have to save the route as your own. You cannot just change it in the config.txt file, as the KUIDs there actually come from the route, and the route stays the same. I use the clone and replace method usually for pofig trees and other things that just don't work anymore. In the above post, I really don't need to clone and replace the windmill if I can identify where it goes, I can just replace it. But for the trees, I might have to use this method. Caveat emptor, YMMV, and all other warnings apply. Back everything up first. These are not my original instructions, I believe I preserved them from someone else's post, but they have worked for me:

To clone an asset, select the asset in CM, and up under the "Content" menu select "Clone". This will create a "new asset" under your user ID, which will be open for edit.
To create a new version of one of your own assets, right click the asset and click "Create New Version".

If you are doing a straight clone, then find your "New Asset" and "submit edits"

If you are creating a missing asset:

Open the folder titled "editing"
Open the folder of the new asset that is open for editing
Edit the config.txt and change the KUID number to the missing one
Move up one folder, then select the asset folder in editing
Drag and drop it onto the CM.
The new asset will have the new Username and KUID from the config.txt file. It will be Open for edit. If there are no errors, "Submit Edits"
If you will not be using your "New Asset", delete it.

<kuid2:122860:100278:2> is "Roys_Aspen_osina2_m5_4D_season" from "Lafond Regional Railway" and "TRS19 Canadian Rocky Mountains Beavermouth to Ottertail" DLC routes
<kuid2:441444:100155:1> is "Windmill Southern Cross 2 V2"

Looking for the following Trainz-Forge unknown asset which goes on an Illinois Central Baggage/RPO car. According to the config file it's a bogey.

You might try checking under their dependencies There are several sets of passenger trucks towards the bottom of the list, but they don't specifically give the KUIDs. They are <kuid:376853:102155> Magicland Type 5E Passenger Truck, which should limit your search to maybe "Magicland Passenger Car Trucks"
 
Thanks. I ended up editing the Config file to replace <kuid:376853:102155> with <kuid:376853:102229> and that appears to have fixed the problem.

I can't find it on the actual ing4trainz site :-/
