Missing Kuids- any suggestions?

Learning... slowly!
Hi all,

Got some issues with a Stanier 8F... Kuids 44090:50051 and 44090:57037 are listed as unknown. Is there a simpler way to search this than asking you guys each time, cos I've quite a few assets with such issues and I don't want to be annoying or clog up the forum.

Cheers,
Al

I've also just tried searching some of the KUIDs that are listed on Paulhobbs's website, but they're listed as being obsolete :/

Thanks all, I'll check the links.
Fran1, it's one that came from the TrainzClassics Website...

If it's that one it's a 9f, an 8f with an extra driver.
Just had a dig around. it's the 8f tender which is version :12 which is missing the 2 kuids. Download the latest version :40 which is ok and obsoletes the other.

A first class ticket (for downloading) might help.
There should be a today tab upper right in your cm, click on that and see if anythings downloaded.

but im using a Mac and ive downloaded from the conent manager (thats when i start the application) before but i just searches for it and completes download so what should i do

but its on Manage Content and it says Download Station when when i download all it does is searches and then it says complete without even downloading and ive downloaded things from there

If the Mac cm is different from the standard one then I've no idea. Best wait for a mac user to chip in.

amtrak26404, it's probably a faulty one. Alternatively, try file>rebuild database and once that's finished, try again. Also, make sure you're not accidentally trying to download something you already have.

Fran1, where did you find 44090:15038:40? I searched it both on the Auran DLS online and the mac one and it didn't come up. Is it available elsewhere?

Also, I think the other missing KUID is the 9F Bogie... it's showing up as missing too. Sorry for my incompetence, I did try googling some but it just suggested forum posts asking the same as me!

Good question, I was going to say my cm but that won't help much.

Cheers, I'll try again. You're being very kind, I really appreciate your patience.

Also, occasionally I find 'engine spec's in the download station- e.g. Terrier A1X engine spec. What are they? Because they don't seem to be trains- I downloaded the terrier engine spec but don't have a terrier, for example.

They're an 0-6-0 steam tank engine, not much use unless your into british steam locos.
Do a cm keyword search for terrier.

Sorry, I didn't make that clear. I'm familiar with terriers, but the 'engine spec' bit- is it like a complete package of everything needed to make that engine work, or is it just one of the dependancies needed for a working engine?

Ah, yes it's a dependancy. But also it tells trainz how much power the loco has got, more important if you drive in dcc mode.
