Missing items and more related

Ok. I am still new and have been downloading alot as I learn to build layouts. I notice that a few items are now missing/changed: Like the "Intermodel Hub" (that came with trainz) and Multiple Industries new are now changed and no longer working correctly or un-findable in my buildings list. I noticed other things like buildings, tracks and such being in other places in inventory instead of where they should be located. Lastly, I noticed some things i downloaded says "Find in TAC...". Ummm, what and where is TAC??

Basically i am building a layout for myself. Was trying to find working Interactive Steel Mill (Multiple Industry New has the items I need but not in my inventory tho can see it in other builds from other people). I have a catapillar area that requires the Steel Coils, hence the need for either a working steel mill or interactive industry(new). Also need the intermodel hub (trailer pickup-dropoff) to work and back to original one.

Here are some things to check.

Open up Content Manager and check that these items are not open for edit. Content Manager is divided into tabs so click on the Open for Edit tab to see if any items are in there.If they are open for edit, highlight them and press CTRL+M at the same time. This will commit these items back to the database.

The items maybe downloaded, but maybe faulty or missing dependencies. Go to the search box and set the location to be local, and Faulty. Items that have a red ! are faulty and need to be repaired before they will load. The same with missing dependencies. If there is a yellow gear with a ? inside, you need to find out what's missing so you can download the asset and make the package complete so it will load into Surveyor.

The other thing is to uncheck favorites in your main screen. This is done through the preferences where you setup your sound and detail levels. Then when you go the routes screen, clear the star so that everything is shown. This unhide any items that may have been not listed as favorites.

Now to find the times you need, go into Content Manager and setup a search for the Download Station. In the search panel put in names like steel coils, coils, etc. If there are any items that are out there for download, Content Manager will find them.

I have been downloading several locomotives of DLS but they have missing dependancies. I would like to know how you find what that missing dependancy is? I thought if I double click on the yellow gear it would tell me whats missing but it doesn't. So how do you find whats missing please?

Right click the asset and click View Dependencies.

Right click on the asset and select "View Missing Dependencies".
