Missing IM files

Hello.

I've been using PEV's fantastic PM2IM program for ages now, with great results but I've encountered a few items recently where, although PM2IM runs, it doesn't do the conversion.

When I go into CMP to check, the PM file is present, highlighted in red as normal.

PM2IM doesn't seem to 'see' it when I click on "Open with" option in CM2. I've had a look through a load of threads mentioning help with this but to no avail.

The KUID of the item I've been attempting to change is 283805:158705 and I'm using v1.2 of PM2IM.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Well, I thought they were fixed. The only error which shows now is the one for alliased mesh which only affects CMP as far as I know. The unit appears in the surveyor menu but not on the tracks. I think I'll turn to the drink now...

Hehe.

If you are running Windows Vista or 7, I have found that PM2IM has to be run as admin to work properly.

Also, I have found that even though it does the conversion, it does not delete the .pm file after.

Hey Shane. Thanks for the suggestion. I run XP (still). I didn't think it made any odds if the PM file was left behind?

I downloaded kuid:283805:158705 and the only problem I found with it was the 2 class 158 bogies have the usual shadow error message. I edited the config.txt file of class158 b bogey,<kuid:2512:50015> and class158 a bogey,<kuid:2512:50014> to add a mesh table to each of them. Here is what I added for the _a bogey. The other bogey is identical except it's _b.

mesh-table {
default {
mesh class158_a_bogey.pm
auto-create 1
}
}
