Missing Dependencies Which Show as Installed

Hi:
I’ve searched the forum and found the answer to a lot of my Trainz problems, but this one has me stumped. Some of the rolling stock I’ve downloaded indicates there are missing items, specifically 2f6p5infrontfreight, <kuid2:58377:50020> and 2f6p5inrearfreight, <kuid2:58377:50021>. For example, they are missing on Flatbox40ft CCLE MOW #,<kuid2:439337:100514:1> and Flatcar50ft CCLE hw#, <kuid2:439337:100172:1>. I checked my “Installed” content, and found 2f6p5infrontfreight, <kuid2:58377:50020:1> and 2f6p5inrearfreight, <kuid2:58377:50021:1>. I can go to All and find the older version, without the “:1”, it shows up as an “update available” item. But it won’t download, presumably because I have the newer version. Any ideas on why these are showing as missing dependencies, and how to fix the problem? Thanks!

I've had the same issue myself but I can't remember how I fixed it. I think after doing a quick database repair the problem went away.

CM will show 'missing' for an installed asset for which there is an update available, even if you have the specific earlier version called by the config.. Conversely it will also show 'missing' if you have the later version but the config specifically calls an earlier revision which is not installed. The fix is :keep everything!

Thanks, gents! I do a regular “Quick Database Repair”, so I tried an “Extended Database Repair” and that cleared up the problem. Unfortunately, it introduced another. Now everything that uses the “50ft Boxcar bogey” and “60ft Boxcar bogey” show those built-in assets as missing. I try to download those bogeys, get a little green check-mark next to the asset, but they don’t show up in my installed list. I’ll play with it a bit, and if I can’t figure it out, start a new thread. Thanks again for your help!
