Missing Dependencies for ECML South

ECML was part produced pre 2004 then upgraded to run in 2004. Sorry but I never intended it to be run in subsequent versions as amending all the changed assets as well as the content management system did not appeal to me after months of work on it. Why not change the track to your fave using change options or Vistamar programme. This will retain all the track. Then delete missing assets and rebuild with the content of your choice. Puffernutter.
Watch out for the ECML routes being produced for 2010 and subsequent releases as these are to a far higher quality and to scale and run with current assets only. I had a finger in that pie, with special reference to Grantham to Skegness and Sleaford to Lincoln.

Glad you're still about and creating for us young man, I also have merged the 2 old ECML layouts of yours and hooverman's to be personally updated in my TRS2007 version, as and when I get 12 months spare......:hehe:

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

Hi Puffernutter.
I became interested in your ECML South route because I wanted to do Kings Cross Station, and I had no clue where to start! The route has been very helpful in getting me going, and it's much appreciated. When I expressed disappointment, it wasn't intended as criticism, it was that Kings Cross was somewhat simplified. I was also sorry to note that there were no sessions, so I still have no idea how to get trains to behave as they would. It loks as if you put a lot of effort into placing of trackmarks etc. Thanks,
Mick Berg.

Are there any sessions for the ECML South route? I see that there are a ton of trackmarks.
Also, I am having trouble with these Auran built-in items, ie they have no texture.
-1:100300 tside 2t platform
-1:100301 tside 2t platform 2
-1:101196 car park
-1:1029 darkstone tunnel
ess1 or Bruce, are you seeing problems with these items?
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

Mick_Berg (ess1 or Bruce, are you seeing problems with these items?)

Still grinding away in CMP+.

Hi Guys,

That might be my fault, trying to be too darn clever enough. I cheated!!!!

Over the years I have moved built in content from 04 to 06 through TC3 to 09. The kuids I sent you were extracted from 09, not 06. Perhaps they got catharpatated by the transition.:o

I will investigate further and endeavour to send you some working kuids.

Regards Bruce

Right OK,
Have downloaded TRS2006, extracted the 4 rogue kuids and tried them in TC3. They work!!!!:D
Have sent them to you Mick, would you be kind enough to forward them to ess1, if they work OK for you.

Many thanks, and sincere grovelling apologies for my error.:(

No grovelling allowed - thanks so much for helping me with this.

Hi Mick,

I am not aware of such a route/session , but would love to find one! I have been working on AI operation for a big terminus (not as big as KX though) for 3 or 4 months now and as one problem is solved another crops up. It would seem that there is no simple way to do this as the AI get confused with complex shunt type operations, especially where full signalling is involved. So far it seems to be lots of track marks and Drive To/Via/Couple At Trackmark commands and even that gives problems on occasion. I would be happy to share what little knowledge I have gained on the subject by responding to specific questions if it helps.

Chris
I'd appreciate any advice you can give. I'm starting a separate thread about how to do terminus operations with the AI. The thread will be called - wait for it - "Terminus Operations with the AI."
Mick Berg.
