Milk Cars

i downloaded 4 milk cars to haul dairy products and all four of them came down all rainbow colored. one was supposed to be Tank Car Bordens and the others about the same. can anyone tell me how to fix this? the cars work fine just look like heck. i am running trainz 2010. thanks for any help

Hi, no one else has replied so I guess you are stuck with me and my limited know how. I can think of 3 possibilites here. First they really are rainbow coloured and the only solution is a paint job (reskin) lol. 2nd is that these wagons are old circa 2004 or 2006 and you need to run in compatibility mode for older stock not native mode which is for 2010 stuff. compatability mode is not that good as it has side effects (reduces performance) The 3rd option requires further investigation.... Go to lanchpad and select "content" then when CM is ready click "installed" then type wagon name in search box left side It should appear in a list on the right. mouse over it and click on it to open an option window. Select "view dependancies" check for broken or missing and their details (kuid no, name and status e,g, "broken" and report back, Then all you need is someone who actually knows what they are doing, LOL

i downloaded both the white and the red Borden's Milk Tank Cars and they work for me in TS10.

Follow the instructions above and they should look fine. Leave hardware compression off or you will see this problem with more assets. Leaving it off doesn't effect gameplay at all, it just makes CM take a little longer to install anything you download.
