Microsoft.com having trouble?

Anyone else having trouble accessing Microsoft.com?

The downloads from the FTP are ripping along fine, but the website seems to have all but died.
2 minutes to load a single page on an 8mb Broadband line. :hehe:

No problem down this end of the world. Just downloaded 2 windows updates and installed them in just under 2 minutes.

Urgh atleast you can update, Microsoft say we have a illegal copy so we can't update any Microsoft related prodyct or the comp goes crazy

Hi guys.

I guess it was something to do with this part of the world.
All is fine today with Microsoft.com

It was just typical that I needed to download something around 500mb in size, and couldn't get to the link through the website (took 5 minutes to download it once I got to their download servers).

I think this is only the second time that I can remember Microsoft.com being down for me in the last 10 years, and the last time was due to a DOS attack on Microsoft from some plebs without a life.

Yeah, like I said, it seems ok now.
Both Zonelabs and Microsoft were having trouble at the same time, but they're ok now.

I needed to update to the latest DirectX SDK (didn't know they'd released a new one in August), and once I'd got to the FTP link it was the usual unbelievable speed from Microsoft.

It's just my luck.
If I fell in a barrel of **** I'd come out sucking my thumb. :hehe:
