microslop trainsim 2

Back to the Topic.....

I will buy MSTS2 for one reason and one reason only. I am modeling the Horseshoe Curve route and that route is included in MSTS2. As a matter of fact, a friend of mine who drives helpers for Northfolk Southern said that Microsoft sent a team to physically study the route. I want to see exactly how good of a job Microsoft has done on the route so I can do better on mine. I am a route builder and I have the advantage that I live on top of the route. From what I have seen so far MSTS2 has done a good job of creating some of the actual buildings found on the route.

Im not gonna go into to much detail here but the msts2 looks really nice but Im still waiting to see a trainz 2009 shot with all the glossy maps and hi poly trains and bump mapping then I will decide which looks better!:p

Thank's ~MAGLEVSX!!!!~;)

the world started moving into the industrial age when WE STARTED IT!!!
LOL :hehe::hehe::hehe:

Funniest thing I've read in years.
Thankfully he's only a kid, and he'll grow out of it.

:D

I'm going to have to print that out.
It's priceless!!!

The most worrying thing is that I think that he believes it, which means that he's either got it wrong somewhere along the line, or more worryingly, he's been taught it!
Frightening.

Smiley.

looks pretty good, i found it when i was looking for some videos of Trainz 2009, (why do they all have to be '2009'?)

naturally when i found this post and tried to post a link i couldn't find it... but after several searches i found it in the end

Enjoy

I have nothing against British stuff, by the way, it just doesn't appeal to me. (With the exception of the older stuff.)
Do you know I feel just the same way. ;)

I reckon before too long all routes in train simulators will be Chinese or Indian to appeal to the largest markets. :)

personally i like bits of everything, the 14XX, the class 08, the SD 40, the Shay, even the occasional DHR loco, i just play around with what ever i feel like at any given moment, to limit oneself to just one country is far to 'limiting' on ones creativity

my £2, (€2.9, $3.81, 400.6 yen) on the subject

'merican schools are as bad as ours then it appears.

"The Industrial Revolution was a period in the late 18th and early 19th centuries when major changes in agriculture, manufacturing, production, and transportation had a profound effect on the socioeconomic and cultural conditions in Britain. The changes subsequently spread throughout Europe, North America, and eventually the world."

Next he'll be claiming the US didn't turn up late for both world wars ;)

Mike.
Thanks for the school lesson!

First, although BNSF power can sometimes appear on the Horseshoe Curve mainline BNSF power is rare mostly NS or Conrail units. Leased power is more likely to be UP. Second, I cannot make out any particular area in the route to say for sure that it is the Horseshoe Curve. Third, I am starting to like my route more and more. Oh yes, I'll keep up the good work.

PS: IC never mind what Mike10 says goto the library and get George Orwells books "1984" and "Animal Farm". That's where you get a real education.:hehe:
