Message for Zec Murphy

Hi Zec, Well it was a very big letdown for me today, I'm want to know how come that my NEW TC2010EE and TC12 will not download onto my computer.
I have been trying sence eraly this afternoon to load iether of the two in, and all that happends is that setup gets stuck at the User Information screen.(Next button will not turn on) On the TC10EE I tryed to register the serial number and when I hit the sumit button, I get "Serial Number Cannot Be Found" in red letters.
Now I go to load TC12 into the computer, the same thing happends when I get to the User Information screen. (The Next Button will not turn on)
I went ahead and registered the serial number and got accepted. So now my
NEW TC12 is registered, BUT it still won't load onto the computer. There is nothing wrong with the computer I just got done doing a clean renstall of my
Windows XP/SP3 plus all the latest Drivers for the video card.
I also have a thread open to get some advice from our fellow Trainzers on this problem, so far nothings working. I also Put in two tickets in helpdesk, and still no response. PLEASE see what can be done to resolve this problem,this is the first time that I've ever had a bad problem with any Trainz

Hey Zec got TC12 to load on the computer, now if we can fix TC2010EE to work' it will just be PEACHEY.

No I am not Zec and I have no advice to give you on this matter but I am puzzled.

If you put in two help desk tickets on the issue, if you have posted the problem on these Forums (and these are all good steps to take), then what is the need for this message? What are you hoping to achieve?

Auran/N3V just returned on Monday from their Christmas/New Year break so I would suspect that they could have bit of a backlog of help desk tickets and other issues to clear before they get to your obviously very important problem. I note from your message edit that you seemed to have solved at least 50% of the problem yourself - thats a good effort - because self reliance and "working through the problem yourself" seem to be skills that are lacking in today's computer users.

I'm not trying to be sarcastic, or poke fun at you or anything like that - I am just genuinely curious.

As Peter mentions, I'm sure that helpdesk will get to your problem fairly soon, however I've got a couple of quick questions that might help us make sense of your problem.

Firstly, I don't think Trainz has any error message which is literally "Serial Number Cannot Be Found". Could you please take a screenshot of this error message. Make sure to erase your CD KEY ("Serial Number") so that people can't steal it :) The screenshot will give us the exact wording and also confirm that we're talking about the same window..
