Hi Nix
Well,Ive finally caught up with you.

I assume there is at least one more with the Shakespeare mob when we drop them back at Newcastle and say goodbye, then we can get on with some proper work.

Stingy lot they were too, I didn't spill a drop of his dam' burgundy and I didn't even get a free ticket to a performance.:(

Out of all your sessions so far there are only two little niggles, one in Dogs of War, where you went to the trouble of putting little 'W's for water.
I stopped at the one north of Mcdonalds stock yards and it was empty. please discuss this with your maintainance staff.

The other was in Bits n Pieces where I had an argument with the stationmaster at Newcastle about the amount of passenger cars I delivered.
He insisted he was due 6 according to his map and I insisted there were 4 according to my orders.
Please sort this out with an official letter from the company.:hehe:

other than that, keep em coming.:Y: :Y: :Y:
Cheers
Roy

please note
I posted this monday afternoon and it seemed to disappear so I've posted it again so if the old one resurfaces I apologise for the duplication.

What can I say? I try to achieve realism in my sessions and I certainly succeeded here! :hehe:

During my brief sojourn as an engine-driver out here situations such as you described were frequent. The loco branch was responsible for supplying the motive power, the traffic branch was responsible for coordinating freight supply and wagon movements and division one was responsible for overseeing the whole shooting box. It wasn't so much a matter of the right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing; it was more a matter of the right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing and neither knowing what the third hand was doing! :hehe:

Of course I could always answer you with modern corporate-speak: your comments are important to us as is your custom and you are in a priority queue to which we will give our full attention.

In the good ol' days it was more: you've got your instructions, just follow 'em and by the way you can fill in this "Please Explain" form while you're about it.

I'll check it out for you.

Welcome to the "real world" of railroading!

Cheers

Nix

PS To answer your original query, your comments are important to me as is your custom and you are in a priority queue to which I will give my full attention. In the meantime supervisors will track down the culprits and require a "Please Explain" from them.
