Merge routes

OK All

I've done this many times before - Merge route1 with route2
Never had any issues although the process might have taken several minutes
Size of each route could have been up to 5Mb
...but today when I tried to merge, Trainz crashed
Running TS2010EE on HP Pavilion with Core i7 and even though I only have 4Gb memory + 4Gb pagefile.sys
I never had any issues in the past. Even tried unloading other background programs
Anyone got any ideas??

This is a known issue - the only way of dealing with it (if the routes you want to merge are large) is to either do it with smaller routes or look into getting TS12 SP1.
