After an absence of some 82 years, it is now finally possible to see 2ft Baldwin 2-4-2T 'Lyn' in steam again, thanks to the efforts of the '762 Club' who have now completed an arduous construction process that has taken over a decade. The new build locomotive first steamed on the 8th July 2017 and will be delivered to it's home line, the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway, in September.
I love it when I see a long-term project finally completed, all those who built it should give themselves a big pat on the back for bringing back this lost piece of history.
