May 1st Trainz appreciation day

Well maybe it is time for something like appreciation day and why not the first of may every year?

We could post here what and who we appreciate a lot for what they are, did and do!

i want to show appreciation to all trainzers who try to help other trainzers,newbee or oldtimer, the best way they can.

I would like to thank all the asset creators that work so hard to help made our routes so nice to look at. Also, just like Roy said, I would like to thank the community for all the help they have offered me. Last, thanks to my alpha tester for helping with my route.

Why can't we simply appreciate Trainz on National Train Day?
Might as well, seeing it's set in the first half of May, too. The 10th or 14th, I think. I can never remember which.
I know National Train Day is so far only a US thing, but Trainz appreciation can be an international part of it.

That's a nice idea! I really want to thank them all, payware and freeware. What would trainz be without all of their fine creations? Thanks to all of you, I'd be lost without ya!

Yes,yes, by all means a Day of Appreciation for the hard hours the third party creators put in on our behalf :wave:
And while I'm at it, Where would we all be without the vision of the original creators of TRAINZ ??

I agree. We have an amazing program here and without the vision the original developers had, we wouldn't be together here today, warts and all. Without the great content creators, we also wouldn't have what it is to make everything run and tick, and look like a virtual world worth visiting or living in.

As a forum cruiser I would just say thanks for all the help available out there and also thanks to the creators.

I appreciate all the Trainz creators, thousands of them, that used to create hundreds of thousands of assets and routes for free, and they donated all their freeware assets and routes to the DLS, for all of us to use (so Auran and N3V didn't have to design assets themselves, besides building a video game platform for us, to use these freeware assets on) ... but this generous trait seems to be changing more and more, disappearing, as more and more creators are in Trainz to make money, and are creating only payware.

Well I can think of two creators who are staying with freeware (as far as I know) and create assets for the era and location I'm interested in. Take a bow skipper1945 and jayholland.
