Maxed out 22PE?

Don't know if anyone needs to see this or wants to see it, but I managed to max out 22PE on my Ryzen 9 9900, RTX 4080 Super, and 32G RAM. My 1800 base layout covered heavily with pine trees, will only support running 174 trains at one time. FPS stayed at 30, but sometimes the track would disappear for a few seconds. I was hoping to hit 200 trains, but no luck.

I want to see if it was the CPU or the GPU that got maxed out. Thank you for sharing.

It is actually a little bit of both. All 24 cores running over 50% and GPU running near 80%. RAM usage about 18G.

If I slow the train that I am riding in down to about 5 MPH, it seems pretty good. I do not have a limit on the distance viewed. Closing that down significantly lets the track appear when and where it is supposed to.

maybe adjust the limit distance one notch or two less than maximum distance and see what you get

Yeah......the lesser the distance, the better. I already did that. Again, this was just something to play with....nothing that I intend on doing any more work on. It is kinda cool with so many trains moving about, though.
