MARZ Base Warning Message

Old Hand
When I logged into arraial's Marz Base thread a few minutes ago, this is what I got from my antivirus system. No other threads in the forum that I visit are doing it.

I had no problems going to the thread, my Norton's has never said anything is wrong with the thread and even some screenshots of Arraial's that I had copied.

P.S. Also, using Firefox

Someone's using Fateback.com for their signature image, I won't say who. Fateback is a reputed spyware host and control service. But I don't think the image file itself contains any exploits.

Only a moderator and/or administrator can delete the threads using this software for their forum.

I know you are from Brazil, therefore English may not be your main langauge, but I regret I can hardly understand the rest of your post.

Arraial, he was only trying to help, and just let others know what may happen when people go to your thread.

I’ve had no warning on screenshots on this thread, although some have either not loaded at all, or can take several minutes with shots from some members, both on this and other threads.

I’ve always assumed that either my protection software is scanning for spyware, or the images are too large. I tend to be a bit suspicious of those and have, on occasions and probably wrongly, put these members on my ignore list – simply to overcome the problem.

Arraial, you could perhaps reduce your image sizes a bit. Members who do not have broadband, or have ISP accounts with monthly bandwidth limits probably don’t bother to even start looking at threads with over sized images.

Communicate away. I am sure they might be interested.

Of course we now know it is really Ed. ;)

Edit: Not happening this morning though...everything seems fine.
