Marta CQ312 reskin to DC Metrorail

If you look at the diagram there is no single track underground. It looks like an underground flyover or possibly a diamond crossing but there is a slight gap suggesting a flyover when J1 goes over C2. Brown is subway, black ground level, aqua is elevated track. Notice that the C2-J2 junction is at ground level and therefore visible while the other switch is underground.

Hmmm, I forgot about those kind of diagrams. But, don't think it's a flyover only because I've been to an condo complex that provides a very excellent view of that whole junction so when I look at the elevation levels of that area with my own eyes, I find it architecturally impossible for the J1-C1 junction to be a flyover, and then maintain an equal grade level with C2 before reaching King Street.

I think the track layout is likely actually the following:
The track layout as viewed from aerial photos only make sense if there is a crossover in the first tunnel, then single tracks in each direction then split to allow two way traffic in the second set of tunnels.

Does anyone know where to obtain any other WMATA equipment for Trainz, like platforms & station canopies? The only WMATA equipment I have are unfortunately just the Marta CQ312 reskin cars from TCR.

Nothing that's been released as far as I know. A few people have tried to build a few objects themselves such as station sign columns. I have a really bad metro sign column I made. I think someone gave me a better one or I had a fixed one that I lost when my hard drive crashed. I thought someone had made a fare-card machine as well but I can't remember. I made a really bad test platform section, but then ended up just re-skinning someone else's platform, but it has its own problems. I made some attempts at a waffle station section, they are short and you have to put several together, aside from the fact that the cross sections aren't quite right as they are just polygonal ovals cut out of a box.

We need to start a project to make and release some Washington Metro items. I found a number of engineering drawings, but I would need to relearn how to use 3D modelling software or find others to help out. I can get diagrams for typical "waffle" stations (but not for the larger transfer stations such as Metro Center) , possibly Arch I or II stations, Gull Wing I canopies, Peaked Roof II stations (General Peak/ High Peak), pylons, platforms, rail and 3rd rail cross sections, and more.

See these articles for description/identification of station types:

Yeah, that's the thing for me as well. I'm not familiar with 3D modeling, but I'm sure that if I were, I would be working on endless WMATA items, as I ride the Metro pretty frequently. It's sad that WMATA can't have as much of a presence as the NYC Subway on Trainz, for in all reality WMATA is a beautiful system overall.

I think John Cambron's track schematic has it right.

In this short video from King St to Eisenhower Ave, you can see the switch in the first tunnel, and it is not a crossover; there is no switch in the second tunnel, so there must be a flyover:

There must be on continuous tunnel for trains in the other direction, with a junction spliiting off and crossing either over or under the other tracks and then going under the tennis courts.

Ah, I see what you mean. By the way, I think I found the closest things to the Gull Wing I and Peaked Roof II canopies already in Trainz. Just search for "MS Canopy 11" (Peaked) which is not a spline, and for the Gull Wing-type spline, search for "platform roof gmp". I'm aware they may not look much like the real life makes, but they're the closest things in terms of general look.

Thank you, I've been gone for a Jazz festival/competition and plan on remaking the 7000-series with higher resolution textures, or photo textures. That is, when I return home.

That 7000 series will be perfect for the East Bay Transit Authority route! You went to a jazz festival! I didn't know you were into jazz music. I play the trombone in a high school jazz ensemble (bass trombone). Anyway, I have been editing the route to make sure it looks better than ever. I only have 5 weeks left of high school so wish me luck!

Sorry. I sometimes sway off topic sometimes. Anyway, the 7000 series cars are now currently in service on the WMATA. I was just saying that it's a great rolling stock item for any subway route.

Hadn't had time to work on things in a while and unfortunately this past month I have had several drive failures. My hard drive got corrupted that was storing my Trainz files and then the brand new drive I tried to recover the data to got corrupted. I'll have to see now if I can recover the data again off either of the bad drives. I may have some files backed up as CDPs somewhere, but I had three hard drives fail in less than a month.

I hate having to reinstall Trainz and recover data / reinstall assets. It looks like I may have lost several of my own assets (probably Sketchup models and modified tracks mostly. Are the 126773:XXXXXX assets from TransDem, as they weren't in my downloaded assets folder? The 105709:21XXX assets are Sketchup conversions. The other 105709 assets are probably custom tracks / trenches, maybe some consists.
