Check your processor.

And my game is really struggling even after upgrading the graphics card. I need more RAM ASAP.

Check your processor as well. Even if you have the all new graphics cards, ram and stuff, a slow processor will bottleneck your system. This comes from experience as I currently have a bottlenecking processor and Ram :(.

Processor passed the diagnostics test. Everything passed but those are the minimal requirements. They should also be more thorough and give us warnings if they feel like even though we've met minimal expectations, there could be some issues due to not having more advanced equipment that can handle the system. RAM is a serious issue and will be looked into when money is available. And will be taken care of immediately.

Windows Experience index.

I see. Money is the limiting factor in many computer builds, it's caused many cutbacks on systems I've built before.

Yes the processor may well pass the diagnostics test, (mine does too), but if you're using Windows 7 then that lovely little windows experience index is very useful in showing what causes bottlenecks.

For example, say you have: graphics at 7.0, hard drive at 6.9, gaming at 7.1, but have processor at 5.2 and ram at 4.1 then those 2 are bottlenecking your system. It's not easy to tell on older o/s' and on a mac but those numbers do help when deciding what to upgrade.

I've always felt that they should put the recommended requirements as the bare minimum and have the requirements that give good fps say 30-40 as the recommended.

Just my 2 rubles worth :)

Making the way for the farmland.

Why do the cars keep weaving in and out of traffic??!! It's really pissing me off that N3V has done nothing about this!! Plus when a train crashes it's really unrealistic. Why can't they actually make that aspect of the game realistic? And don't give me the excuse of kids play this game. Trains are not supposed to go through the earth or each other like a saw goes through wood when it's being cut. No way.

Haven't you heard of ghost derailers? :hehe:

I don't know about the traffic & derailment realism either, but I hope N3V fixes it too.

You can set derailrailment railism to "Realistic".
EDIT: I LIKE IT. Derrailrailment Railism. (Derrailment Realism)

Then why are you complaining?

Because, the same reason everyone complains when I bash the UP. On the topic though, the few times I have crashed, it isn't realistic, though most of the time I have AI Drivers that are stupid.

You bash the UP because you're not thinking like a business... You're thinking like a gunzel
