You're working on a Knox & Kane route? Is it going to be the full route? I made the K&K #58 using a Chinese SY from a Chinese site and I made a Ping Pong coach using one by K&L Trainz for personal use. I started a route but didn't get very far, and I used a DEM of the Buffalo & Pittsburgh as a base, and planned to add blank baseboards for the rest of the route. I never rode the railroad, and it went out of business because of the tornado destroying half of the ex-Erie bridge. It started in 1987. The SY is now at Essex, CT modified to look like a New Haven Mikado and the #38 is at Everett RR awaiting restoration. They were damaged in the Kane engine house fire. My route is in 2019 though. 2022 has this problem with trees flickering white and it seems that the only way to fix it is to install another 2022 but don't update to the latest build. I read that the trees don't flicker in earlier builds.
I'm really trying not to pin it to a specific time period, I'd like it to be B&O friendly as well... but I'm not really paying attention the the style of houses and other scenery for specific time periods. there are modern houses, schools, etc. It's really a bummer cause I'm still waiting on N3V to implement more realistic cuts and fills, they are still too wide (ten meters) at grade...
It's certainly a windy and steep route, grades over 4%, radii less than 80 meters, etc... not suitable for long trains (limited by the foxburg switchback) or for stock over 40'. Certainly no 6-axle road switchers!
My ping pongs are reskins of old auran baggage car, I dont know if i can upload them or not. The GP9 is on the DLS. the two switchers I have been waiting for permissions, one because i re-used and modified someone else's repaint graphic...
I was considering making a thread for the route to post updates, but I didn't think many would care about it....
